A public servant injured while having sex on a work trip can
keep her compensation payout, after a court dismissed an appeal against it.
The woman was hurt when a light fitting fell on her while she
was having sex in a motel room in regional New South Wales in 2007.
She was on a work trip for a Federal Government agency at the
time.
The full bench of the Federal Court rejected an appeal from
the workplace insurer Comcare.
Its ruling said the woman should receive compensation for her
injuries.
