Mediclaim premium rates going to hike
All medical insurance providers in India are going to increase the
premium rate very soon once they got the nod they have already applied from
IRDA to offset losses. The hike could be between 20 and 40
per cent. General insurers, both from private and public sector, had reportedly
approached the regulator for 10-40 per cent revision in health insurance tariff
to protect losses.
